Process to arrange an initial appointment

Before requesting an appointment, please read the Fees and Payment page to learn about the Consultation Fees, Deposit and Cancellation Policy, and Late Arrival Policy.

Nourishing Minds Psychiatry is a private practice, and bulk-billing services are not offered. The practice does not accept workers compensation, CTP, NDIS, veteran affairs, or medico-legal patients. If any of these apply to you, please consult your General Practitioner (GP) for alternative options.

To request an initial appointment with Dr Musarevski, you will need to complete the Request Appointment webform and upload a valid referral in electronic format (PDF preferred) from your GP or Specialist. A referral is necessary to submit the appointment request webform. You will also need to be linked in with a GP for in-person medical management, as this is a telehealth-only service.

The details you provide with your appointment request webform will be used as part of our due diligence to assess suitability before an initial appointment can be offered. Following the review of your referral, our reception team will contact you to provide you with the outcome.

If an appointment is offered, our reception team will request you to contact the practice and schedule your initial appointment. Once scheduled, you will receive an email with appointment confirmation details, including links to our online intake forms. The payment method for the required booking deposit will be emailed to you one week before your scheduled appointment.

To secure your appointment, we must receive the completed online intake forms (New Patient Registration, Telehealth Consent, Practice Policies and Treatment Contract, and Health History Form) and the deposit payment at least 48 hours on business days before your scheduled appointment; otherwise, your appointment will be cancelled.

Preparation for your appointment

Please email any recent laboratory tests, medical records or other relevant documents you would like Dr Musarevski to review at least three business days before your appointment. This may include previous assessments from a Psychiatrist, Psychologist or other Specialist.

While we always strive to begin your appointment on time, there may be cases where a previous appointment causes a delay. We kindly request that you allow a reasonable time frame of approximately 30 minutes after your scheduled appointment.

Additionally, please ensure that you have read our Telehealth page before your initial appointment.
